The Heart of My Practice
_edited.jpg)
I work with photography, video, and mixed media to explore identity, memory, and the quiet complexities that shape human experience. Guided by personal history and cultural observation, my practice is rooted in sonder—an awareness of the unseen lives unfolding around us. I’m drawn to metaphor and layering, both conceptually and materially, allowing each piece to hold multiple readings and emotional textures. My process is intuitive and reflective, shaped by ideas from ancient philosophy and contemporary life. Rather than commit to a single medium, I let the subject determine the form—whether through embroidered images, unconventional photography methods, or moving visuals—ensuring each project finds its most honest voice. At its core, my work invites curiosity and connection, offering space for introspection while challenging what we often overlook.
